Who we are: Liberty Christian Academy is unique in Grand Junction, Colorado. Beginning in the 2001/2002 school year, the on-site school offered a preschool and daycare program. The 2003/2004 school year offered classes in preschool, kindergarten and first grade. We were pleased to add grade 2 in the 2004/2005 school year, and grades 3 and 4 in the 2005/2006 year. We now have grade 5 in 2007/2008. Our goal is to reach grade 8 no later than 2011. This method of adding one or two grades per year is designed to ensure consistently high standards, both scriptual and academic, at each level. Please contact the office for further details!
Additionally, Liberty Christian Academy offers homeschool services for families who desire to educate their children at home. From 1991 to 2001 this service was administered by our sister ministry, Liberty Baptist Church

Philosophy of Instruction: It is our purpose to integrate and harmonize faith, culture and learning, all the while underscoring that God is the author of all truth.
We believe the best education for all young people should be broad in scope and include the humanities, science, etc. We are teaching young people about life and how to build on the experience and knowledge of previous generations.
Goal: To enable young people to face the future with a Christ-like character centered around a sound Biblical foundation and a solid education. Truly our children must be prepared to lead the way as our nation forges ahead into the 21st century.
Curriculum: LCA uses ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) A BEKA (Pensacola Christian College), and BJU (Bob Jones University) curricula.
